My eyebrows and eyelashes have thinned out considerably two months post chemo. I kept them all through chemo even though I lost all my hair. Has anyone else had this happen? How long before they grow back?

Same thing happened to me. I'm 3 months post and they haven't come back. I thought it might be due to starting tamoxifen. I really miss my eyelashes!

I hope yours come back. I went thru treatment almost five years ago with taxotere and cytoxan. My hair, eyebrows, lashes etc did NOT grow back. Hopefully your will....

I lost my eyelashes on my last cycle of chemo. They were slow in coming back. I started using latisse and the are quite full now. Unfortunately eyebrows are still quie thin. I finished my last chemo in march 2011.

I have wondered about using latisse. Any problems with it?

It has worked great. My oncologist said it was fine to use. My lids got a bit darker but I am probably the only one that notices. Good luck

Yup, happened to me as well! Started using vitamin e oil at night... Just rub a small amount onto eyebrows and lashes. It helps condition the hair follicles and you will start to notice a difference fairly quickly!
