I'm 23 year old. I have a lump in the upper outer quadrant of my right breast. I had it biopsied 5 months before... it's stage 2. I sometimes feel pain in that area not very often. Does it mean it has metastasized??

I would ask your doctor to be sure nothing has changed. Have you had surgery, chemo or radiation?

If you know that it is stage 2 cancer I would very quickly have surgery done or start chemo to shrink the tumor first. You have to do something it will not go away on it's own. By waiting you are giving the tumor a chance to spread or grow. At least talk to your doctor about what to do next.

My sister had four of these. Even though she didn't need teeatments, her doctor removed all of them. I would definately check into surgery.

NO question is too small or silly when it comes to your health. I hope that you can find a group or clinic that helps patients navigate through chemo treatment, surgery and other treatments as I did. of

I am agreeing with the rest of the women.I got my lump on May.I didnt have it removed until September. It takes longer to heal the longer you wait. Also the doctors have to send out the cancer and develop. A plan for treatment. If you don't get treatmen its life threatning. If they told you it was insitu its staying in one plce.If its a stage 2,invasive ductal cacinoma its growing rapidly.Modern science has developed so much there is a great chance of living. If you dont take these steps honey you will die.Its so tough.I know it well but you want you and if you have family ,that would devastate them.Everyone. says Ill be stronger and know myself better when its over.I have faith that is the truth.See a oncologist socail worker.Mine has given me such great advice and gui.Good luck and God bless<3

You say that this is fibroid, yet you also say it is stage two, and ask if it is metastasized. It isimportant to get properly diagnosed and treated, and for you to have a clear understanding of your condition. If your doctor cannot clearly explain this to you, I would seek a new doctor

No, pain does not mean it has metastasized. I also had pain occasionally post-biopsy and mine has metastasized. However it progressed to stage 3. I left mine because it was misdiagnosed post-biopsy. Don't wait! Take charge and start treatment NOW!!! Please!!!
