I recently finished up treatment and surgerys. Ready to move on with life. Taking taxoifen, back to work. But feel like something is either missing or still wrong. Can't quite put my mind on why I can't be through, done with cancer!

It is the new normal that you are dealing with. Life will never be the same as it was before " you have cancer," call. I pined for my life back but what I got instead is the new normal I'm not the same BUT I'm stronger, more centered, confident, healthier, a warrior, and I have a family of sisters that are amazingly beautiful and strong. Nobody wants to be here with us but I have never seen a group that embraces life like we do.

My doctor told me I would be thinking of my BC morning & night for about a year... I think she is right . For me anyway. Keep trying to stay positive... It is tough sometimes. Hugs

I Agree I think after it has consumed our thoughts and become our focus its hard to switch back to regular days and routines .

Thank you Ladies!! It feels good to know I'm not a weirdo or going cookoo! Only someone who's gone through this can relate! I appreciate the responses!! :)

Sometimes we really need our pink sisters to get us over the rocky journey cancer gives us.

It's normal. I felt the same way being out of work for 6 months and going back in February.
