I'm 34 and was diagnosed with stage I triple negative a week before I turned 32. No history and negative for BRACA, so why??? I'll never know, but today I'm cancer free (since Halloween 2011) and now in 2014, I feel emotionally healed as well. My hair is back to normal and I've had a few haircuts, plus, I feel more like myself than I have since hearing I had cancer. I had chemo (4 AC, 4 taxol), then a lumpectomy with one sentinol node removed. Then radiation. I am contemplating further surgery and have an appointment to find out more information this week.

I try to raise awareness by sharing my story to young women. I ride in the Pan Mass Challenge, a huge bike ride across Massachusetts and 100% of funds raised goes to Dana Farber, one of the best cancer centers in the country. (I was also treated there) Last year, the PMC raised $39 million!!

I'm very open, so feel free to ask me anything.
Best to all
